Have you picked up a postcard? There are a thousand out and about - if you see one around town be sure to pick it up as a reminder of the upcoming Summer Serendipity Sale.
This is the second summer we are bringing you Serendipity and indoor staging is almost complete. We're leaving enough space to get around comfortably so we will be staging a lot outside as well. Everybody, please send your most positive energy for beautiful weather. A day like today will be wonderful
So many things I love about organizing Serendipity but near and dear to my heart are the treasure hunters. We are so lucky that the vendors/treasure hunters who have created these magical items are sharing a little piece of themselves with all of us. It is a true gift to be able to look at an old dirty piece of furniture and recognize its beautiful qualities.... and then create it. Or to pick up little trinkets here and there or items many of us pass over as trash and visualize how their color, texture and size will compliment each other and then assemble them into a work of art that we can wear or gifts with special meaning that we can share.
The items found at Serendipity have been rescued and brought back to life with soap and water, sandpaper, paint, scissors, recycling efforts, a keen eye and a lot of love. These are people that live in your community who are creating unique and many one of a kind treasures for you and your home.
Please help me welcome back treasure hunters... Glenda Pullen of "Galore", Amanda Carmickle and Cheri McCurdy of "Oh, La, La", Whitney Asay of "Petuniaz", Judy Neal of "Out on a Whim", Andrea Green of "The Green Pickle",
And welcome new treasure hunters...Abbi Sides of "Chimney Rock Ranch", Natalie Feltch of "BeBe Bow and Tutus" and Sarah Chafee who I will introduce in the next couple days.
Hope you will all mark your calendars and come out and support your local talent.
See you soon!
