Serendip-i-ty is sparkling

It takes quite a crew to pull off a sale at Serendip-i-ty.
A very special thanks to my brother, Zak Pullen for the layout and design of all my advertising, not to mention his love and encouragement.

Thanks to my daughter, Macinsey Green for the wonderful photographs, my mom Glenda Pullen for not only contributing to the sale but doing the heavy lifting required to transform a shop into a magical place.

To to all who participate in the sale

&

those of you who spread the Serendip-i-ty word.

I am so grateful.

I have an announcement!

I am so excited to announce that Judy Neal will be joining us as an artisan at our Fall/Winter Sale.

Judy has participated in several high quality Arts and Crafts shows in our region and we are so happy that she is sharing her talent with our community.

Judy's style is fun and funky!

She is busy creating upcycled unique items from game boards, cowboy boots and neckties to create one-of-a-kind albums, journals and purses and much more soon to be revealed.

Come help us welcome Judy

More goodies have arrived

Before the sun had a chance to rise on Monday morning, goodies arrived from Utah.

I am so excited for you all to see what Cheri and Amanda have created!
After many years of picking and shopping my family and I have become experts in packing vehicles and I guarantee this UHaul was strategically packed to fit items from floor to ceiling.

This picture was just as we had unloaded no more than four items.  Once the UHaul was empty we hardly had a trail to maneuver through the shop...and we have more inventory on the way!

It looks like we will be strategically packing the shop for this sale and restocking daily as items are sold.

You won't want to miss this one!

Oh lovely autumn....

Autumn has been good to us this year.  The days are warm like summer but noticeably shorter and the light is a hazy golden color.  I love, during this transition to bring out my boots and light sweaters with warm hues and I especially appreciate my hot tea with almond milk first thing to warm me on chilly mornings.

Another of my favorites during this season is my much anticipated girls trip.  Cheri, Amanda, my mom and I all head out to Salt Lake City on Labor Day weekend to visit our favorite haunts and discover new ones.  We were joined by Amelia, the newest college student and Stantyn, the newest member of the family.

First, we discovered George's - a fun antique and architectural salvage spot.
I love the SIMPLIFY sign amongst all the clutter...how ironic.  We picked our way through the inside and the equally packed yard and found some fun treasures.

Including this really cool cart with coffee table written all over it!
Our second stop was "Walls".  I highly recommend this shop if you are looking for large graphic wallpaper and a big dose of inspiration.  I love the feeling I got in this shop.  Lord, what they can do with a converted mechanics garage!

While I was out shopping... dirt was being moved to prepare for construction of the barn/the new and improved spot for Serendipity.  Since then the guys have gotten some poles up so I can better picture how big it will actually be.

It is hard to tell by the picture but it will give Serendipity some more room, a bathroom, and my office/studio a place upstairs - how exciting!  A couple of contractors are busy compiling bids for the remodel of the house so construction can begin in that area in a couple weeks.  We expect to move in sometime in May.  Crazy how life changes!

I'm off to complete some projects for the Fall/Winter Sale.  Looking forward to seeing you all in November.
